Call for Participants
We are particularly interested in those who have had compelling experiences exercising their rights and duties of citizenship.

Everyone is Somebody

Who We Are, What We Believe In, What We Do...

Who is the person standing next to you
on the street corner? Or across the street waiting for that bus? Who is leaning out of the window, watching the world go by?

May we include your picture and a caption in a diorama so that viewers will have access to your story by simply clicking the image you send?`

how to participate
A spirit falls to earth and explores a busy city scene though a "veil of ignorance" wondering aloud about the physical, commercial and political elements that we tend to take for granted. This is an interactive multi-media installation that will be presented at Intermedia Arts as part of The UnConventional Gathering Place, a program of The UnConvention. The UnConvention is a series of non-partisan citywide programs around the theme of participatory democracy through art, education and journalism leading up to the dates of the Democratic National Convention (August in Denver) and the Republican National Convention (September in St. Paul).

We are seeking participants who would like to be photographed or have their photo and story included in a 3D interactive video project that is somewhat like a video game projected in the gallery as an installation. We are particularly interested in those who have had compelling experiences exercising their rights and duties of citizenship.
Performers and artists are welcome to inquire. Deadline is August 7th.
